Penekanan Penyakit Akar Gada pada Tanaman Kubis melalui Perlakuan Tanah Pembibitan

Abstract


Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Instalasi Penelitian Tanaman Hias Cipanas (ketinggian 1.100 m dpl)
dan di Laboratorium Mikologi, Jurusan Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Institut Pertanian Bogor
dari bulan Sep tem ber 2001 hingga Maret 2002. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan tanah
pembibitan terhadap penekanan penyakit akar gada pada tanaman kubis. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan
adalah acak kelompok yang diulang tiga kali dan uji jarak berganda duncan taraf 5% digunakan untuk mengetahui
perbedaan pengaruh perlakuan. Perlakuan terdiri atas tanah pembibitan tanpa perlakuan solarisasi dan pupuk
kandang, tanah pembibitan dengan solarisasi, tanah pembibitan dengan pupuk kandang ayam, tanah pembibitan
dengan solarisasi dan pupuk kandang ayam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan tanah pembibitan hanya
dengan pupuk kandang ayam dan perlakuan tanah pembibitan dengan solarisai dan pupuk kandang ayam dapat
mengurangi keparahan penyakit akar gada di lapangan sebesar 12,4-20,5% dan meningkatkan produksi kubis sebesar
58,6-85,8%.

De part ment of Plant and Dis eases, Fakulty of Ag ri cul ture, Bogor Ag ri cul tural Uni ver sity from Sep tem ber 2001 to
March 2002. The ob jec tive was to eval u ate the ef fect of seed bed treat ments on clubroot dis ease of cab bage caused by
Plasmodiophora brassicae Wor. This ex per i ments was laid in a ran dom ized block de sign with three rep li ca tions and
DMR test at level 5%. The treat ments were: seed bed with out chicken ma nure and solarization, seed bed with
solarization, seed bed with chicken ma nure, and seed bed with solarization and chicken ma nure. The re sults showed
that seed bed treat ments with chicken ma nure only and seed bed treat ment with chicken ma nure and solarization could
de creased the infestation of clubroot disease about 12,4-20,5% and in creased cab bage pro duc tion about 58.6-85.8%
re lated to the changes of soil microflora pop u la tions on cab bage seed ling rhizosphere due to or ganic amend ment
(chicken ma nure) and soil solarization.
