Pengaruh Cara Pemakaian dan Konsentrasi Ethepon Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Jahe

Abstract


Effect of the application methods and concentrations of ethepon on the growth and yield of ginger was studied at Cibinong Experimental Garden, West Java from November 1991 to June 1992. The experiment was arranged factorially (2 factors) in a randomized block design with 10 treatments and 3 replications. The first factor was application methods of ethepon i.e. seed immersed and sprayed, meanwhile the second factor was the coacentrations of ethepon i.e. : 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 ml/l. The results showed that the application methods of ethepon did not give significant effect on the growth and yield of ginger. However, immersing of the picces of ginger rhizome gave better result compered to spraying. The ethepon concentration 1.0 ml/l gave better result on the growth and yield of ginger compered to untreated.
