Keragaman Anakan Seratus Aksesi Plasma Nutfah Padi Gogo Lokal

Abstract


Pemanfaatan plasma nutfah padi gogo lokal sebagai sumber karakter penting dan potensial dapat diketahui apabila sudah dikarakterisasi dengan baik. Karakter anakan tanaman sangat menentukan tingkat produktivitas tanaman. Namun pada sebagian besar koleksi padi gogo lokal BB Biogen, karakter ini belum banyak dikarakterisasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan karakterisasi anakan 100 aksesi plasma nutfah padi gogo yang mencakup jenis anakan primer, sekunder, dan tersier. Padi gogo ditanam dalam pot percobaan dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok sebanyak tiga ulangan di Rumah Kaca Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Bioteknologi dan Sumber Daya Genetik Pertanian. Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap jenis anakan mulai dari awal munculnya anakan. Jumlah anakan primer, sekunder, dan tersier pada tanaman yang diuji diamati pada umur dua bulan dan saat masak. Pengelompokan plasma nutfah padi yang diuji dilaksanakan melalui analisis klaster menggunakan metode average linkage (pautan rataan) dengan jarak Euclidus. Keragaman karakter jumlah anakan tersier pada saat masak menunjukkan keragaman yang paling besar dibanding dengan karakter lainnya. Varietas lokal Ketan Hitam dan Ketan Salome merupakan dua aksesi padi gogo yang memiliki anakan terbanyak.
