Pengaruh Suhu dan Kelembaban Relatif terhadap Perkecambahan dan Perkembangan Tabung Kecambah Konidia Cladosporium musae Mason

Abstract


Penelitian  dilakukan  di  Laboratorium Fitopatologi  Fakultas  Pertanian,  Universiti  Putra  Malaysia  dari  bulan Januari-Maret 2002. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu dan kelembabam relatif terhadap perkecambahan dan perkembangan tabung kecambah konidia C. musae. Rancangan percobaan menggunakan faktorial  dengan  suhu  sebagai  faktor pertama  dan  kelembaban  relatif  sebagai  faktor kedua. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konidia C. musae dapat berkecambah pada kisaran suhu dan kelembaban relatif yang lebar masing-masing 22-34oC dan 88,5-100%. Pada kelembaban relatif yang rendah, rataan jumlah konidia yang berkecambah berkurang secara drastis. Perkecambahan maksimum terjadi pada suhu 26oC dengan kelembaban relatif 99-100%. Tabung kecambah terpanjang 133,64 mm terdapat pada suhu 26oC dengan kelembaban relatif 100% diikuti 116,5 mm  pada suhu 22oC. Panjang tabung kecambah berkurang pada suhu tinggi dan kelembaban relatif rendah. Dibahas juga perbedaan pengaruh suhu dan kelembaban relatif terhadap perkecambahan dan perkembangan tabung kecambah.

ABSTRACT. The experiment was conducted in Phytopathology Laboratory of Faculty Agriculture, Universiti Putra Malaysia from January-March 2002. The aim of this experiment was to study effect of temperature and RH on the germination and germ tubes development of conidia C. musae. The experimental design used a factorial with temperature as the first factor and RH as the second factor. The results of this experiment showed that conidia of C. musae germinated over a wide range temperature of 22-34oC and of RH 88.5-100%. Mean percent- age conidial germination generally decreased drastically at lower RH. Maximum germination was observed at temper- ature 26oC with RH 99-100%. The longest of germ tubes conidia of C. musae 133.64 mm was occurred at temperature 26oC with RH 100% followed by 116.50 mm 22oC. Germ tubes length was decreased at high temperature and at lower RH. Differences effect of temperature and RH on the conidial germination and germ tubes development are discussed
