Tanggap Tanaman Lada Perdu Terhadap Ketersediaan Air Tanah dan Mulsa

Abstract


Research purposed to obtained effect of Water availabillity and mulch on growth and Productivity of bushyblack papper on latosol And podsolic soils. The experiment was Conducted at the Experiment Garden Cimanggu Research Station – Bogor from July 1995 to October 11997. The experimental Design was a split-split plat with three Replications and four plants per treatment The main plot was soil type i.e. latosol and Podsolic. The sub plot was mulch i.e. without Mulch and straw mulch. And the sub-sub plot Was water availability i.e. 40, 60, 80 and 100 Percent. Parameter measured to determine The effects of treatments were number of Primary branches , number of secondary Branch, length of primary branch, number of Leaves, number of spikes, and dry berries. Results indicated that the highest growth were At latosol soil with, 80% water availabillity, And mulch application At generative phase Only soil type and water availability gave Significant effect on dry berries procution. Dry berries production on latosol soil was Better than dry berries on podsolic soil. At First harvest. The highest production was at 80% water availabity and at the second Harvest at 100% water avalaibility.
