Abstract


Infection and symptoms of pacing leaf streak diseases of citting heat treatment.

A kind of virus can transmited by mechanical inoculation to tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) associated with leaf streak and mosaic diseases of pacing (Costus speciosus Smith). The disease spread through cuttings and rhizome. Heat treatment, using warm water at 500C 20 minutes could not yet make the cuttings free from virus infection.
